Micro-welding is mainly dedicated to thin gauge assembly (max. 1.5mm) performed in a gas atmosphere which is equivalent to laser beam welding, the main advantage of which is cost and flexibility, allowing processing of single parts and/or medium series. This option is also used in the repair and reinforcement of specific tooling edges.
